Government Travel Information

Passport

We've identified most of the main sites from which you can obtain the latest official travel advice and information. Please just click on the relevant link below:

Travellers who are not US or UK residents should always check the websites of their own Government for the latest advice and information before they go on vacation.

US citizens should check the Federal Government websites. The following links may help but - as web addresses can change without notice - please use a search engine if the links do not operate as expected.

You should properly check ...

  • what vaccinations you may require
  • any health warnings for the place or area you are planning to visit
  • what visas you may need
  • any travel warnings

Make sure that your passport and other travel documents (visas, etc) are up to date and that there is sufficient time left on the passport when you return (several months are usually required but check with your own Government)

Make sure all necessary vaccinations are up to date and get them well before the start of your vacation (usually at least 6 weeks before travel but ask your doctor for advice).
