Advertising in the guides
There are more than 1,500 Guides available for over 200 locations all over the world (and these are increasing every month). If you run a business in any of these locations and you want to reach the lucrative short-stay market – whether for cruise passengers or air/car arrivals – you can advertise in the Guides themselves. The Guides are ideal for advertising such businesses as:
- Car Hire
- Local Tours and Cruises
- Cafes and Bars
- Restuarants
- Local Attractions and Sights
- Bus Companies
- Taxi Firms
- Shops and Boutiques
- Etc, Etc
There are three different styles of ad in the Guides themselves:
A. Side Box Ad (approx 47 x 25mm)
A straightforward text ad in a box to one side of the main guide text. These ads are black and white only and take a maximum of 20 words (no photos or logos).
The cost is $15 (£10) per month subject to a minimum of 3 months and maximum of 12 months per booking (*).
B. Display Ad 1(approx 85 x 25mm)
A boxed ad placed in the central column of the Guides and separated from the normal Guide text. Larger than side boxes for up to 30 words (no photos or logos).
The cost is $25 (£15) per month subject to a minimum of 3 months and maximum of 12 months per booking (*).
C. Display Ad 2 (approx 85 x 25mm)
A boxed ad placed in the central column of the Guides and separated from the normal Guide text. Larger than side boxes for up to 40 words (including one colour photo or logo).
The cost is $35 (£20) per month subject to a minimum of 3 months and maximum of 12 months per booking (*)
D. Full Banner Ad (approx 166 x 25mm)
A banner ad in the Guides is full page width (Letter in the USA/Canada and A4 in UK/Europe), coloured text and background if required plus your logo and up to two photos (subject to size and space). You can choose to have a specially designed ad (at your own expense) and whatever details, logos, photos, web addresses and email addresses you wish.
The cost is $50 (£30) per month subject to a minimum of 3 months and maximum of 12 months per booking (*).
Multiple Location Discount
If you would like to take the same ad in the Guides for a number of locations you would be entitled to a discount on the total cost. Please contact us, tell us which Guides you’d be interested in and how long you’d like to book, and we'll get back to you by email as soon as we can to discuss the possibilities.
